about

ABOUT

As a recent graduate (May 2022) of the University of Colorado Boulder in Astronomy, with a minor in Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, I bring a diverse set of physical understanding to this role. I centered my studies around understanding how the atmosphere of Venus has changed over time. This interesting study was unique in the aspects that it is impossible to observe the surface of Venus from Earth, and allowed me to be creative in how I solved problems.

Throughout high school in Montana, I was a research fellow for the National Institutes of Health, studying the Bubonic Plague. Within this role I was also allowed to use my creativity in order to determine the specific genomic sequence that allows Bubonic Plague to spread as rapidly as it has in the past. With this past research experience, independence, and creativity I look to my own future and how to apply it.

My current work brings me closer to what I would like to be able to do, educate people about science, and show them that it is not locked away from their reach. I want to be able to bring science to people. This is how I approach life, and anything that I am doing, that being that I want to learn, and I am willing to put in the work to succeed.
